Help Us Build
Friendship Circle of Miami began in 2004 on one property consisting of a main house and an adjacent in-laws quarters with approximately 3,000 square feet of total space. For 17 years, the program, staff, and volunteers provided support for individuals with special needs in these original facilities. But the need grew every year. Our overwhelmed facilities were no longer enough for the ever-increasing number of children and families we were striving to serve. It was time to do more!
In early 2022, after over a decade of detailed program and facility planning, we demolished our original facilities and broke ground on a new, expanded Friendship Campus Miami. Our new home will allow us to quadruple the number of families we serve and will include custom-designed spaces for new and expanded programs, especially dedicated to a diverse spectrum of children and adults with special needs.

About Us
Friendship Circle of Miami is a program that brings together teenage and adult volunteers to help children, teens, and adults with special needs and their families. These individuals with special needs may suffer from loneliness in addition to their disabilities. They could have the best professional help (doctors, social workers, etc.), but they don’t necessarily have friends!
They don’t attend regular social gatherings like most, and their classmates and peers cannot interact with them in the same way as most. They may be missing extra attention, love, and friendship from friends and people in their community.

The Solution is Friendship Circle of Miami! We provide assistance to families with children, teens, and adults with disabilities.
Our unique formula introduces teenage and young adult volunteers to our friends, and through shared experiences, both are enriched.
Friendship Circle of Miami is made up of five parts: volunteers, special friends, parents, staff, and supporters. The true beauty of the circle is how we all link together to form a seamless circle of friendship. Together, we can perform miracles.

Our diverse menu of current, holiday, and special programs will give your child room to grow and explore new avenues of fun. In our new facility, our programs will offer daily fun and learning for children with all levels of understanding.
